The Waste Lab is a women-owned, Dubai-based, impact-driven start-up that aims to create an opportunity for every food scrap to become a solution rather than a burden on our society and environment.

By offering nature-based solutions, and rewarding eco-friendly behaviour, we are building a community of individuals and establishments that understands and practices proper organic waste sorting at source and disposal which, in turn, will be used to create healthy compost and other by-products that benefit our local soil, local farms, local food and local jobs.

At The Waste Lab farmland, the power of nature is harnessed, utilizing the heat from the sun, the beneficial micro- and macro-organisms to turn the collected food waste into healthy, nutrient-rich compost that supports our local agriculture by building healthy soil, increasing food security and encouraging the transition to regenerative practices.
